Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage daily schedules based on production plans and resource availability.
- Collaborate with production, sales, and shipping departments to optimize schedules and reflect progress or changes.
- Forecast and balance shift schedules to maximize capacity and efficiency.
- Schedule window and door installation and service appointments efficiently.
- Resolve scheduling conflicts and ensure timely service delivery.
- Communicate with field technicians across Alberta to coordinate jobs and resolve issues.
- Consider each stage of the production process to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Ensure smooth operations across production, packaging, and distribution departments.
- Coordinate with accounting for order clearance and batching.
- Distribute production paperwork and dispatch order files to shipping daily.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and voicemail professionally and promptly.
- Send quotes to customers and follow up to close sales.
- Provide regular status reports to management on project progress and schedule adherence.
- Prepare and maintain various operational and performance reports.
- Maintain accurate records of schedules, service calls, and production batches.
- Order parts for repair work as needed.
- Generate job completion paperwork and coordinate any outstanding service tasks.

- 2+ years experience in an office environment
- Courteous and professional telephone manner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advance proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of the geographical areas of Alberta
- Experience using production planning and/or scheduling software is an asset.
