Office Administrator

Canadian Energy Metals Corp. (CEM). Calgary, Alberta

Help build the future of Canada’s critical metals industry.

Who We Are

Canadian Energy Metals (CEM) is on a mission to unlock one of Canada’s most exciting critical-metals discoveries: the Thor Project in East-Central Saskatchewan. Our resource base - rich in aluminum, scandium, and vanadium - is positioned to support clean energy, electrification, aerospace, and next-gen materials.

We’re a fast-growing, early-stage company with bold ambitions and the momentum to match. If you love building structure, supporting high-impact teams, and being at the center of a company that’s scaling quickly, you’ll feel right at home here.

The Role

We’re looking for an Office Administrator who loves making things run smoothly, the person who keeps the team organized, the office humming, and our leadership supported as we push toward major milestones.

This isn’t a traditional admin role. You’ll be part of a small, high-trust team where your ideas matter, your initiative is valued, and your organizational superpowers will help propel a company shaping Canada’s clean-energy future.

What You’ll Do
  • Keep our Calgary office running like a well-oiled machine - supplies, vendors, facilities, you’ve got it covered
  • Support experienced executives with scheduling, coordination, travel, and expense management
  • Help prepare investor materials and assist with shareholder communications
  • Add your touch to marketing activities for the Thor Project and other initiatives
  • Act as central contact point for employees, clients, suppliers and visitors
  • Assist with the administrative components of projects, including document preparation, data entry, reporting and coordination
  • Build and maintain tidy, efficient corporate filing and documentation systems
  • Coordinate IT support and get new team members set up for success
  • Handle basic bookkeeping tasks in QuickBooks
  • Support HR tasks, onboarding as well as compliance documentation
  • Create a workplace vibe that’s positive, professional, and energizing
You’ll Thrive Here If You…
  • Have solid (3+ years) experience in office management or administrative support
  • Love being organized and keeping others organized, too
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Are comfortable juggling diverse tasks and shifting priorities
  • Know your way around MS365 Premium, Google Workspace, and modern office tools
  • Have some QuickBooks or basic bookkeeping knowledge
  • Are a self-starter who sees what needs doing and just runs with it
  • Get excited about working in a fast-moving, startup-style environment
Where You'll Work
  • Our downtown Calgary office
  • Occasional work-from-home flexibility
  • Potential occasional travel to our Tisdale, Saskatchewan location

If you want to be part of a company that’s growing fast, building something meaningful, and helping power Canada’s critical metals future, we’d love to meet you!
