Nak’azdli Health Centre is seeking a Community Health Nurse to join our dynamic and progressive health team. This position provides a comprehensive range of core nursing functions and services in Nak’azdli Whut’en, Fort St. James, BC, within the areas of Community and Public Health.
The Community Health Nurse promotes and maintains the health of individuals, families, groups, and the community through culturally safe, trauma-informed, and holistic nursing practice. This role is grounded in the principles of Primary Health Care, with a strong focus on health promotion, disease and injury prevention, population health protection, Prenatal/Postnatal, Family, and Maternal-Child Health.
Your regular hours or work will be from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm for 7 hours per day from Monday to Friday and it is expected that all work will be completed within your regular working hours. However, you may be required from time to time to work outside your normal hours of work or on weekends.
