Reporting to the District Manager, the primary responsibility of this position is to maintain full coverage personnel within their territory, including hiring, terminating, training, educating and evaluating.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Ensures that full coverage of personnel is maintained within their territory
  • Ensures merchandisers are complying with all chain standards as well as following company policies and standards
  • Disseminates and collects information directly to/from merchandisers
  • Ensures that all stores in territory are merchandised on a weekly basis – arranging coverage for sick leave and vacation when required
  • Maintains on-call and store set up teams
  • Provides merchandising coverage in stores as required
  • Hire and train merchandisers, including potential team leads
  • Handle payroll, reporting, internal communication, and performance reviews using company tools
  • Other duties as assigned
Skill / Knowledge Requirements
  • Ability to motivate, coach and train individuals
  • Supervisory / team management experience an asset
  • Access to a smartphone, computer, internet access
  • Merchandising experience
  • Excellent time and project management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented and ability to multi-task
  • Aptitude for working in a team environment
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Fully versed and comfortable with the Microsoft PC/Google Workplace and smartphone environment
