Job description
Overview

Pursuit Collection, Jasper, AB — Night Audit position at Glacier View Lodge (GVL). Seasonal, full-time; $19 per hour. This role reports to the Glacier View Lodge Hotel Manager and Supervisor. Shifts are from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.


Responsibilities


  • Provide nighttime supervision and guest service at the GVL Front Desk between 11 pm and 7 am

  • Educate guests on Pursuit Attractions and guide them through the purchasing process

  • Provide a professional, friendly and efficient check-in and check-out experience

  • Answer and direct Columbia Icefield and GVL phone calls and emails

  • Coordinate efforts to accommodate guest requests

  • Maintain knowledge of Maestro, Expedia, Booking.com and Wizard systems

  • Maintain cleanliness of the GVL Lobby, Moraine Lounge and guest areas

  • Operate the point of sale system with accuracy and handle cash, credit cards and cash-out forms

  • Communicate with co-workers and management, forwarding observations and comments in a timely fashion

  • Uphold environmental stewardship standards

  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications


  • Enjoy working autonomously and independently

  • Current Alberta Pro Serve Certification required

  • Strong organization and time management skills; passion for delivering a great guest experience

  • Previous cash handling, hotel front desk and night auditing experience

  • Guest-service oriented mindset and ability to work in a team

  • Friendly, approachable and proactive demeanor

  • Ability to think creatively, make quick judgments and stay positive

  • Attention to detail, speed, consistency, follow-through and ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Willingness to work mornings, evenings or night shifts as required

  • Meets Pursuit grooming policies and standards
