Location and Medical Services

Kamloops offers high-level, specialty medical care including Cardiology, Critical Care, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Infectious Disease, Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, Nephrology, Respirology, and Rheumatology. Diagnostic services include a Clinical Neurophysiology Lab, Sleep Lab, MRI, two CT scans, and Echocardiography. RIH is the regional base for the High Acuity Response Team (HART), which transports critically ill patients throughout the region. Surgical services encompass General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery, Otolaryngology, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Plastic Surgery, Urology, Obstetrics, and Gynecology.
