A leading service firm in Metro Vancouver is seeking a Mobile Facilities Technician to maintain operational integrity across multiple sites. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, coordinating maintenance, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates have 3-5 years in facilities management and relevant certifications. The position offers competitive pay of $33.51-$35.51 per hour based on experience.
The Mobile Facilities Technician will play a key role in maintaining the operational integrity and safety of designated locations, supporting the customer service experience across multiple BC Hydro and Black & McDonald sites between Port Moody, Pemberton and Powell River. This position is responsible for attending service calls, conducting building inspections, initiating corrective work orders, performing light preventive maintenance (PMs), and coordinating with external service providers (Suppliers). The technician acts as a liaison between Black & McDonald and BC Hydro District Office Managers, ensuring timely and effective resolution of facilities-related issues using the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
The Mobile Technician will support the coordination of preventative maintenance tasks and inspections for all building systems and services, and corrective repairs as required to ensure continued availability of the building spaces. The Mobile Technician will use their experience and technical skills along with our CMMS system to support our high levels of service and customer satisfaction.
Expected compensation for this role is a starting pay range between $33.51-$35.51/hour dependent on skills and experience.
