• Operate semi-automatic mixers – Spiral and Horizontal.
• Ensure work area is organized and sanitary.

Responsibilities

• Keep the line supplied with ingredients as per supervisor's pace.
• Complete and deliver batch forms to the Production Supervisor.
• Verify all batches produced during your shift.

Skills

Strong communication skills in both verbal and written English

Ability to perform basic mathematical functions

Ability to bend, pull, push and stand for long periods of time

Hiring Requirements

As a Mixer at Bimbo Bakehouse, you will be:

• Combine all raw materials in proper sequence and sign off to indicate each ingredient has been added and processed for the correct amount of time as outlined in the Mixing Sheet (Formula Sheet).
• Operate semi-automatic mixers – Spiral and Horizontal.
• Rotate mixed ingredients back and forth to the line being served.
• Keep the line supplied with ingredients while adhering to the pace set by the Supervisor.
• Complete and deliver all batch forms (Formula Sheet) to the Production Supervisor.
• Ensure work area, tools and supplies are organized and sanitary throughout the shift.
• Follow all GMP’s and Safety Procedures.
• Verify that all batches are produced on your shift.
• Ability to bend, pull, push and stand for long periods of time.
• Frequent heavy lifting of products up to 50-100lbs.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to perform basic mathematical functions.
• Strong communication skills in both verbal and written English.
• Able to overtime as needed.
