Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns in a production setting.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance.

Job description

We’re currently hiring a 433A Millwright to join our team at Can Art Aluminum Extrusion in Brampton, ON. This is a full‑time role with competitive pay.

You’ll work a 12-hour continental shift, rotating between days and nights, with every other weekend off.

At Can Art, you’ll join a team that values safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. We provide hands‑on training, and offer a supportive environment where your mechanical skills make a real impact.
Authorization to work in Canada without current or future sponsorship is required.

What You’ll Do
  • Install, maintain, inspect, and repair mechanical equipment
  • Troubleshoot and fix mechanical breakdowns in a fast‑paced production setting
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and routine preventative maintenance
  • Rebuild hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders
  • Replace pumps, belts, saw blades, couplings, and other mechanical parts
  • Fabricate fixtures and perform general welding repairs as needed
  • Assist electricians with machine repairs
  • Install new equipment and help maintain building systems
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Keep your work area clean and safe at all times

What You Bring
  • Valid 433A Industrial Millwright license
  • At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Strong skills in mechanical troubleshooting and equipment repair
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Welding experience
  • Basic electrical knowledge and PLC familiarity is an asset
  • Experience with metal processing, stamping, or die casting is a plus
  • Comfort using Microsoft Office and maintenance software (e.g., Megamation) is helpful
