Job Title: Millwright / Mechanic (Night Shift) Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Vacancies: 1
About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Millwright / Mechanic to join our night shift team. This position offers a safety-first culture, long-term employment, and a clean, well-maintained facility. What We Offer
  • Wage: $39.02/hour + $2.75/hour night shift premium
  • Schedule: Night Shift – Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
  • Must be available for emergency call-ins and overtime

What You’ll Do
  • Repair, modify, or replace machine parts to maintain production capacity
  • Inspect and lubricate equipment and identify future maintenance needs
  • Perform equipment changeovers, setups, and adjustments
  • Participate in safety meetings and contribute to safety action plans
  • Support major projects, installations, and start-ups
  • Read and interpret drawings and schematics to determine spare parts requirements
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area and follow all safety procedures
  • Respond to off-hours maintenance needs as required
  • Supervise outside contractors on-site
What We’re Looking For
  • 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (corrugated, printing, or packaging is an asset)
  • Interprovincial Red Seal Millwright preferred
  • Welding experience considered an asset
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Must have own tools
  • Ability to work professionally under pressure and meet deadlines
