A project management firm in Canada seeks a Mill Supervisor to oversee daily production at a potash facility. This role includes managing a team, ensuring safety and environmental compliance, and implementing process improvements. Candidates should have a High School Diploma, with supervisory experience and knowledge of industrial operations. Benefits include health & dental coverage and pension matching. The position requires adaptability to various working conditions and the ability to work shifts.
Peter Lucas Project Management is a group of energetic and curious problem-solvers; we are currently looking for a Mill Supervisor to join our team.
At Peter Lucas, we provide the variety of work, professional challenges, and incredible learning opportunities that come with contract-type work but in an environment where staff have targeted professional growth support, a diverse community of colleagues to lean on, health and dental benefits, and improved job security compared to contracting on one's own. We seek to create an environment where everyone can find success in a career they are passionate about while being compensated fairly and contributing to a better future.
The Mill Supervisor oversees day-to-day production activities to support the continuous operations of the potash facility. This includes all facets of production supervision namely management of hourly employees, material handling, product quality, safety, environmental, maintenance and projects. Assist with the implementation of process improvements and capital projects as needed. Support employee training and qualifications and serve as a liaison between management, operations, maintenance, and support groups. This position will work 12-hour shifts between days and nights, supervise a crew of 10 Mill Operators, and report directly to the Mill Superintendent.
We appreciate all applicants' interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted. Wages are negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
Global reference checks may be conducted after the interview process.
