Overview

Wage : $18 / hr

The Merchandising Team at Acosta Mosaic is currently seeking dedicated Merchandisers to join our Reset Team. While prior experience is beneficial, it is not essential, equivalent experience will be considered and training will be provided. Our top clients are in the Cosmetic or Grocery sector, however, our team services a wide variety of clients in other industries such as consumer electronics, pets, accessories, and small appliances. As a Merchandiser, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting our clients’ merchandising initiatives and fostering strong relationships with Store and Department Managers.

Competitive Hourly Rates (negotiable based on territory and experience).

Responsibilities
  • Precision Setup: Arrange shelving, displays, and walls according to provided planograms and instructions.
  • Efficient Scheduling: Plan and organize store visits within your assigned territory.
  • Effective Communication: Keep your supervisors (and support team, if applicable) informed of your work schedule when necessary.
  • Continuous Learning: Attend mandatory training sessions (both online and field-based).
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate positive connections with key in-store contacts.
  • Thorough Reporting: Complete shift reports, including daily submissions with data and photographs of completed tasks (utilizing reporting technology via handheld device).
  • Versatility: Handle calls with various major department and grocery stores (e.g., Shoppers Drug Mart, Walmart, Best Buy, Canadian Tire, Loblaws, etc.).
Qualifications
  • Merchandising Experience: While preferred, it is not essential, equivalent experience would be considered.
  • Attention to Detail: Execute planogram changes accurately.
  • Organizational Skills: Multitask effectively and comply with all deadlines.
  • Physical Capability: Our team frequently works in grocery environments that may require movement of large shelves and fixtures, as well as packing out cases of various grocery products. Suitable candidate must be able to lift 30-50 lbs, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods of time.
  • Enthusiasm: Energetic, self-motivated, and enthusiastic.
  • Adaptability: Flexible and open to change, as our team grows and takes on diverse clients. Applying previous merchandising experience to new client initiatives is crucial.
  • Effective Communication: Strong written and oral skills.
  • Availability: Monday-Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
  • Driver’s License: Valid license with access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Regional Travel: Comfortable with occasional travel within territory (up to 60 minutes).
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using mobile devices and capturing quality work photos.
