Reporting to the Chief Technologist and Section Charge Technologist, the role performs routine and some specialized laboratory procedures.

University Hospital Of Northern BC (UHNBC) is the largest acute care facility within the Northern Health Region and a hub for specialized health services. It is also a teaching hospital.

  • Perform routine and some specialized laboratory procedures as directed by the Chief Technologist and Section Charge Technologist.

UHNBC has benefited from significant expansions and new equipment since 2001, including an expanded emergency department, updated ICU, and a state-of-the-art maternal-child care centre with a single-room neonatal ICU. It also provides facilities to accommodate undergraduate physician training and other educational programs.
