Job summary

A regional engineering consultancy in Calgary, Alberta is looking for a skilled professional to oversee mechanical systems installation and project management. The ideal candidate will conduct feasibility studies, develop maintenance plans, and manage teams of up to 10 people. This is a permanent role with a salary of CAD 53.00 to 60.00 hourly for full-time work at the physical location. Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research into the feasibility, design, operation and performance of mechanisms, components and systems
• Supervise and inspect the installation of mechanical systems
• Develop maintenance standards, schedules and programs
• Plan and manage projects, and prepare material, cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications for machinery and systems
• Prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders for industrial construction or maintenance
• Assess business opportunities and develop strategies
