This is a unique opportunity for you to work with experts and engineering professionals across Canada on interesting and challenging projects. You’ll work closely with our experts, senior engineers and designers on heavy industrial projects in the mining and power sectors, including studies, and will serve as a technical resource.

  • Help carry out study or detailed engineering mandates for clients with existing facilities or for those wanting to expand or build new facilities
  • Participate in multidisciplinary mandates as part of a work team comprised of engineers and technicians
  • Participate in analyzing various types of technical problems related to industrial mechanics and piping
  • Prepare plans, technical data sheets and specifications based on guidelines for mechanical mandates
  • Prepare calculations, lists and bills of materials in accordance with codes, standards, drawings and other established methods while complying with the firm’s quality system requirements
  • Prepare presentations, minutes of meetings and reports
  • Assist more experienced personnel with the technical aspects of complex tasks

Overview of certifications and job requirements.
  • University student in Mechanical Engineering program
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite and other applications as well as databases and interfaces
  • Available to travel occasionally between BBA offices
  • Available for short-term (mandatory) and long-term (asset) assignments at client offices or sites in Ontario and Canada
  • Asset: Mechanical experience in the industrial, energy or mining sectors
  • Asset: Bilingual, English / French
