How you will make a difference:

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating marketing products that are competitive, original, focused, clean and on time. This role works with the Marketing team to support strategic marketing plans.

What You’ll Do:

• Design promotional and event collateral for both print (in-store) and web
• Establish creative direction to deliver a cohesive look and style across all consumer touch points (including digital ads, promotions, E-Commerce website, weekly promotional emails, in-store marketing material)
• Design all advertisements (display ads, print, mall events)
• Work closely with outside vendors to provide print quotes and timelines
• Work with Director, Marketing to coordinate, develop and execute marketing plans
• Work with Director, Marketing, Junior Art Directors, and Graphic Designers to review and discuss seasonal direction, colour palettes, art direction and creative concepts
• Communicate and coordinate with other departments to ensure all deliverables are met in order to meet marketing plan
• Provide status reports as requested
• Assist Visual Department with requests

What You’ll Need:

• Post-secondary education in Marketing or a related field
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a graphic designer position
• Experience in fashion photography
• Previous retail experience is an asset
• Experience with OSX operating systems
• Proficient in various design programs InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and Quark Express,
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, Adobe creative suite, content manager and Magneto
• Proficient on MAC and experienced on PC format
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
