A leading supplier of marine technology is seeking a Marine Service Technician in Newfoundland, Labrador. This role involves installation, commissioning, and repair of electronic navigation equipment on commercial vessels. The ideal candidate will have an engineering background and exceptional customer care skills, and will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues and training customers. Full training will be provided.

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Service team at our office in Newfoundland, Labrador. As a Marine Service Technician, you are an integral part of the Canadian Service Team, responsible for and focused on installation, commissioning and repair of electronic navigation equipment onboard commercial vessels.You will test, adjust, and troubleshoot components, PCBs, sub-assemblies, antennas and other related marine hardware; and will also load, update, and modify software. You will use your knowledge of electronic theory and circuitry to address a variety of technical problems; and will make intelligent use of complex schematics, blueprints, and manuals to accurately achieve assignments. Utilising your excellent customer care skills, you will provide technical training and guidance to customers on system installation, operation and maintenance, to help them resolve technical problems. This role is a great opportunity for someone to start their career in marine engineering as full training will provided.
