Role

Warehouse Manager (Deployed overseas for six months) – manage the retail warehouse for the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and partner nations, enhancing morale and welfare for deployed troops.

You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day management and operation of the warehouse, including:

  • Developing business opportunities with local vendors and internal CFMWS retail resources.
  • Receiving and verifying delivery of merchandise.
  • Maintaining inventory records.
  • Producing accountability reports.
  • Preparing deposits.
  • Supervising warehouse staff.

Work in a fast‑paced, land‑based environment, adapting to new challenges and contributing to a close‑knit team.

Qualifications
  • Education: College diploma or certificate in Business Management or related field.
  • Citizenship: Canadian citizen with a valid Canadian passport.
  • Driver’s License: Valid Canadian driver’s licence (Class G or Class 5).
  • Experience: Management in a retail environment, delivery of employee training, warehouse/logistics management, use of point‑of‑sale systems and report analysis.
  • Competencies: Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork, and leadership.
  • Additional Qualifications (pre‑deployment): Completion of health, dental and psychosocial assessment; security screening; current CPR and Basic First Aid; ability to walk, lift, carry, pull or push heavy items.
  • Language Requirements: English (essential).
