Job description
Overview

At KPMG, you’ll join a team of diverse and dedicated problem solvers, connected by a common cause: turning insight into opportunity for clients and communities around the world.

As a Manager in our Technology Strategy & Transformation practice, you will spearhead enterprise-wide digital transformation and innovation, applying a strategic, digital‑first mindset. You combine hands‑on technical depth with consulting acumen to harness the latest in AI (including generative AI), modern infrastructure, and data modernization across the enterprise. You translate cutting‑edge technology into tangible business value, architecting business solutions that align with organizational strategy and growth objectives. More than a technologist, you are a storyteller and strategist, fluent in platform thinking and enterprise transformation. You articulate complex ideas through compelling narratives that guide stakeholders through change and inspire teams.

As a leader, you manage multi‑disciplinary teams and client engagements, orchestrating transformative outcomes at scale.

What you will do
  • Lead the development and execution of enterprise‑wide digital transformation strategies, ensuring technology initiatives in areas such as AI, cloud, data, and platform strategy are aligned with clients’ business goals and drive measurable value.
  • Guide CIOs and technology leaders through strategic challenges such as IT effectiveness reviews, technology assessments, and optimization of IT cost structures and performance.
  • Develop and implement future‑ready IT Operating Models that enable agility, innovation, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct application portfolio assessments and rationalization efforts, identifying modernization paths and cost‑saving opportunities across legacy and emerging technology stacks.
  • Architect and oversee the implementation of modern technology solutions—such as scalable cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and digital architectures—to address complex business challenges.
  • Promote transformation‑based thinking in solution design, helping clients build flexible, scalable digital ecosystems and product platforms that support continuous innovation.
  • Drive innovation by integrating emerging technologies like AI and advanced analytics into clients’ business models, identifying use cases that deliver competitive advantage.
  • Develop enterprise AI strategies that align with business imperatives, prioritizing AI use cases, establishing governance frameworks, and creating scalable models for AI adoption across functions.
  • Design and implement AI‑enabled business solutions, including GenAI‑driven workflow enhancements, intelligent automation, and AI/ML‑powered insights platforms, ensuring measurable value and ethical application.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams of consultants, technologists, and industry experts to deliver high‑impact transformation programs on time and within budget.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, engaging in clear and compelling storytelling to communicate technology visions and guide strategic decision‑making.
  • Build strong client relationships by understanding business needs and identifying opportunities to expand KPMG’s services (e.g., proposal development, account growth).
  • Ensure delivery excellence and continuous improvement by applying KPMG frameworks, tools, and methodologies tailored to each engagement.
  • Contribute to the growth and innovation of the Technology Strategy & Transformation practice through thought leadership, mentoring, and development of new offerings.
  • Travel may be up to 30%
What you bring to the role
  • 7–10 years of professional experience in technology strategy, CIO advisory, digital transformation, and/or management consulting.
  • Proven ability to lead complex engagements involving IT operating models, application rationalization, technology roadmaps, and IT cost efficiency programs.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise technology architecture and emerging technologies (e.g. AI, cloud platforms, data modernization) and how they create business value.
  • Demonstrated experience developing enterprise‑wide IT and digital strategies, including business cases, capability models, and execution roadmaps.
  • Track record of architecting business solutions enabled by technology, including cloud‑native infrastructure, intelligent automation, and data platforms.
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities in fast‑paced, client‑facing environments.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive consensus.
  • Experience with IT assessments, benchmarking, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and solve complex problems.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or relevant graduate degree is considered a strong asset.

Certifications: TOGAF, PMP, SAFe, or Agile certifications; cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IT governance credentials (e.g. COBIT, ITIL, CISA) are advantageous.

Mindset: A passion for innovation, a deep curiosity for emerging tech, and a commitment to helping clients unlock lasting value through transformation
