As we continue our journey to become a leading digital company, we’re seeking an innovative and data-driven professional to join our team as Manager, Global Digital Channels - Performance & Insights. This pivotal role will lead our efforts in transforming how we measure, analyze, and optimize our digital channel engagement and performance strategies across Sun Life.
Reporting to the Director, Global Digital Channels, you’ll be at the forefront of driving data-informed decision-making and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across our global digital channels. Your expertise will be crucial in connecting our digital initiatives to tangible business outcomes and enhancing client engagement across all touchpoints.
Develop and implement a comprehensive framework for measuring digital channel performance across web, mobile, email, and emerging platforms
Create a global center of excellence for digital channel performance and insights, establishing standardized metrics, best practices and governance models in close collaboration with global and regional digital analytics and data enablement teams
Define industry-standard key performance indicators (KPIs) that align with business objectives and client needs ensuring clear, measurable targets
Develop and maintain dashboards that clearly demonstrate the link between digital channel performance and key business metrics like lead generation, conversions, and revenue
Conduct competitive insights benchmarking to identify best practices and opportunities for improvement across our digital channels
Leverage AI and machine learning tools available in the organization to uncover deep insights from our vast data ecosystem
Implement a test-and-learn approach to continuously refine our digital strategies and tactics
Partner with business units, IT, and marketing teams to integrate data sources and create holistic views of the client journey
Consult with global stakeholders to understand their unique needs and tailor insights delivery accordingly
Lead cross-functional projects to enhance our data collection, analysis, and visualization capabilities
Stay at the forefront of digital channel performance trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices
Contribute to our long-term vision of creating personalized, omnichannel experiences driven by predictive analytics
8+ years of experience in digital analytics and/or data science, with a proven track record of driving performance improvements in large, complex organizations
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Economics); Master’s degree preferred
Relevant certifications (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Certified Web Analyst) are a plus
Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, customer journey mapping, and attribution modeling
Hands‑on experience with leading analytics platforms (e.g., Adobe Analytics) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI)
Experience with predictive modeling and advanced analytics techniques to derive actionable insights from complex datasets
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for both technical and non‑technical audiences
Strong project management capabilities, with experience leading cross‑functional teams in a matrix organization
Innovative problem‑solver with a growth mindset and ability to thrive in ambiguity
Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for advanced data analysis and modeling
Experience with tag management systems and implementation of tracking solutions
Understanding of statistical analysis, A/B testing methodologies, and experimental design
Familiarity with competitive intelligence tools and methodologies
Experience in financial services or insurance industry digital analytics preferred
Able to accommodate early morning and late evening meetings occasionally to support business partners in Asia time zones

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance.
