We are seeking a Manager, Client Leadership for our Toronto office to make an impact for our Fortune 500 clients.
Role Description:
The successful candidate will work in a hybrid remote capacity, attending in-person meetings and company functions in and around the Toronto/GTA region as needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Lead shopper marketing planning processes independently with clients and/or retailers to develop customized programs for specific brands or retailers, participating in brand/retailer sell-in when appropriate.
  2. Manage partnership relationships with other manufacturers or properties.
  3. Oversee the implementation of key client projects.
  4. Communicate persuasively in both written and oral forms with clients, fostering strong working relationships.
  5. Apply advanced financial knowledge of agency P&L components and understand how resource utilization impacts overall profit performance.
  6. Prepare detailed post-program analyses including ROI, key learnings, and future recommendations.
  7. Present projects to senior management to positively influence client relationships.
  8. Manage and develop junior team members, including performance evaluations and reviews, as assigned by the Director.
Skill Sets Required:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, business, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of marketing or advertising experience, preferably in an agency setting focused on retailer promotions.
  3. Strategic thinking in developing shopper marketing programs and managing daily operations.
  4. Sound decision-making skills grounded in agency, client, and industry knowledge.
  5. Passion for business and continuous improvement, always seeking ways to grow and enhance client outcomes.
  6. Strong proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  7. Excellent time management skills, ability to meet strict deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
