A prominent health services provider in Sundre, Canada, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker IV to perform complex maintenance and repair tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in Corian construction and installation, along with a background in the health care industry. Responsibilities include leading maintenance staff and resolving operational issues. Competitive salary and benefits package offered.
As a Maintenance Worker IV, you will perform a variety of highly skilled and complex maintenance and repair work requiring considerable initiative and judgment in determining the appropriate work methods consistent with standards, regulations and procedures. You will utilize your supervisory and/or maintenance skills and experience to perform preventative maintenance and repair duties on specialized equipment and building control systems, and to provide leadership and direction to other maintenance staff in order to meet operational requirements. In addition, you will perform specialized machine repairs, as well as the maintenance and monitoring of systems and equipment. You may be responsible to resolve escalated operational issues; act as a delegate for the Manager on operational issues; participate in the recruitment and selection of new staff; assisting the design and implementation of preventative maintenance programs; estimate project costs; and liaise with outside agencies and contractors.

Required Qualifications: Completion of post-secondary education in a related field and/or technical certification in a related field required or 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate as per ABSA kW rating guidelines where boiler support is necessary.
Additional Required Qualifications: 2 years minimum experience with Corian construction and installation. 2 years minimum in wall protection and installation.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with working within the health care industry.
