POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician – Millwright to join our Huntsville, Ontario team. This role is responsible for maintaining plant equipment and facilities in safe, optimal working condition through proactive inspections, monitoring, and routine maintenance.

SIGNING & RETENTION BONUS

Receive a $2,000 bonus:

• $1,000 after 6 months of continuous employment
• $1,000 after 12 months of continuous employment

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Rebuild and service production machinery and systems to ensure reliable operation
• Perform tooling and machine changeovers efficiently and accurately
• Maintain, organize, and store tooling (1/2” – 63”) and equipment
• Set up production lines, including installation of winders, extruders, saws, rollers, and related components
• Conduct regular inspections and report tooling repairs or damage to the Maintenance Crew Leader
• Follow all company procedures and safety standards
• Actively participate in Health & Safety training and promote a safe work environment
• Contribute to LEAN and 5S initiatives
• Support other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager

QUALIFICATIONS

• Millwright Certificate or enrolled Millwright Apprentice
• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, or a relevant combination of education and experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude with problem-solving skills
• Solid organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience with 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles
• ERP system experience is an asset
• Willingness to support other departments as needed
