Now Hiring: Maintenance Technician
Location: 90 Engelhard Drive, Aurora, ON
Type: Full-time | Flexible / Rotational shifts including weekends

We’re looking for a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role focused on ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all facility and production equipment. Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safe and reliable operation of all production and facility equipment

• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance to avoid equipment breakdowns

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and basic automation issues

• Report equipment deficiencies immediately and keep accurate maintenance logs

• Support the company’s Continuous Improvement Program

• Prioritize work orders in coordination with the Production Supervisor to minimize downtime

• Maintain a clean and organized maintenance area

• Follow all Health and Safety protocols in line with Treasure Mills' safety program

• Exhibit positive, team-oriented behaviours and contribute to a collaborative workplace

• Consider long-term sustainability and support initiatives to reduce, reuse, and recycle

• Keep current on all workplace health and safety matters relevant to your role

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a food manufacturing environment

• Experience working with flow wrappers, robots, conveyors, and high-speed packaging equipment

• Mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting skills required

• Familiarity with PLCs and electronic controls is an asset

• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety practices preferred

• SAP and SQR knowledge are considered assets

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to complete accurate shift reports

• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-demand environment

• Flexible with shift times; weekend work is required

Schedule:
Shifts are 4–5 days per week and range from 8 to 12 hours in length.
