As the Maintenance Supervisor at one of Pursuit’s Jasper properties, Chateau Jasper, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the maintenance of all physical structures which include but are not limited to the guest rooms, parking area tayi utility rooms, outdoor patios, pool, and spa. The goal of this position is to ensure the hotel premises are safe, functional and attractive, and that guests receive service that meets Pursuit’s standards. The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the day‑to‑day work assignments of maintenance team members by planning and assigning tasks, monitoring work quality, and ensuring safety and upkeep of all facilities.

Role & Responsibilities

• Supervise the maintenance activities of the property.
• Assist with the upkeep ofVPN Purs:outline Pursuit company vehicles.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with Hotel Manager.
• Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of all staff housing units.
• Coordinate all renovations on the property.
• Communicate and perform preventative maintenance of the property.
• Train and mentor maintenance workers in all aspects of propertyликт-maintenance and effective communication.
• Oversee all onsite maintenance workers, ensuring their health and safety, managing pool & hot‑tub maintenance, septic field management, and implementing and maintaining processes for all on‑site equipment.
• Prepare schedules for maintenance workers bildet ensure all shifts are covered.
• Maintain frequent interaction with coworkers, management, and guests.
• Assist with payroll control related to the Maintenance Department.
ngoba Landscaping, snow removal, and parking lot cleaning.
• Ensure, train, and participate in safe work practices and fire procedures.
• Ensure effective use of Limble (maintenance management system) by all team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a related maintenance field (basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, pool treatment, and painting).
• Excellent mechanical ability and knowledge.
• Strong training and leadership skills.
• Administrative capability and basic computer knowledge.
• Creative thinkingSeparate problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with necessary tools (tools provided).
• Ability to manage large workloads and multitask effectively.
• Willing/able to work flexible shifts, such as day (e.g., 7 am‑3 pm) or night (3 pm‑11 pm).
• Valid driver’s license (Class 4 Alberta driver’s license is an asset).
