Job summary

A leading food manufacturing supplier in Kitchener is seeking a full-time Maintenance Supervisor to manage daily operations and assist the maintenance team. This role requires an Industrial Electrician (442A) or an Industrial Mechanic Millwright (433A) license, with strong communication skills necessary to lead and resolve conflicts. Competitive salary range of CAD 95-110k per year offered.

Qualifications

• Must have an Industrial Electrician (442A) and/or an Industrial Mechanic Millwright (433A) license.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to work all shifts including weekend overtime.

Overview

Our client a leading food Manufacturing Supplier in Kitchener, Ontario is currently looking for a full-time permanent Maintenance Supervisor with solid experience in Food or any Manufacturing industry.

95-110 k per yr.

Position Responsibilities

• Assist the maintenance team with repairs and preventative maintenance activities. This is a working Supervisor position.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software.
• Oversee the daily maintenance operations providing support and expert opinion to subordinates and management as needed.
• Responsible for completing documents and reports including but not limited to corrective breakdown and preventive maintenance activities.
• Develop and implement strategies for creating or improving maintenance processes and procedures.
• Review completed Work Orders to ensure that the Trades people record actual time worked on the WO. Compare to time planned and addressed significant variances.

Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications

• The applicant must have an Industrial Electrician (442A) and / or an Industrial Mechanic Millwright (433A) license.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees co-workers and Managers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to lead motivate coach mentor and resolve employee conflict.
• Flexible & open to work all shifts including weekend overtime as required.
• Intermediate Computer Skills in Microsoft Office (Word Excel and Outlook).
• Experience working in a meat processing facility is an asset
