The payrange for the role is $75,300 to $125,300 plus bonus, comprehensive benefits, retirement savings plan, paid vacation, and other perks and opportunities.

Job Scope:

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the scope of this position involves the responsibility of safe and efficient operation and electromechanical repairs of all plant equipment, as well as the maintenance of the plant infrastructure. This position is responsible for leading and supporting the maintenance staff with a special focus on continuously improving processes and efficiencies.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Direct and lead the Maintenance team in scheduling, preventative maintenance and the safe efficient operation and repair of equipment.
  • Improve and maintain preventative and predictive maintenance systems.
  • Identify opportunities and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Promote a positive culture with a focus on safety and communication.
  • Work closely with the Maintenance Manger to provide assistance with Capitol projects, budgeting, JHSC, all other duties as assigned.
  • Assist / liaise with Maintenance Co-ordinator to establish an efficient and accurate inventory control.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to Maintenance team as needed.
  • Complete accurate and detailed documentation as required.
  • Ensure all regulations, safety standards and food safety requirements are met and maintained.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Qualification as a Millwright or Electrician License.
  • Minimum of (5) years experience in supervisory/management in dairyis preferred.
  • Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance systems.
  • Computer Skills – Experience with MP2, MS Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability prioritize work effectively and work closely within a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and on call.
  • Solid trouble shooting and problem-solving skills, including PLC.
