Primary Purpose :

Performs tank installation, install transfer lines and related equipment at customer location, general maintenance and repairs on the Tank Farm, Warehouse, facilities chemical transfer equipment.

What you'll do :

• Completes routine maintenance and repairs on chemical bulk storage equipment in the facility.
• Completes routine maintenance and repairs on chemical bulk storage equipment in customer facilities.
• Install tanks, transfer lines and pumps at customer locations
• Responsible for coordinating the facility maintenance program to ensure all maintenance is completed routinely
• Completes various welding and fabrication projects
• Completes general Tank Farm maintenance including pump and hose inspections
• Completes necessary research for non-standard maintenance & repairs requiring the purchase of materials and / or employment by outside contractors or vendors
• Monitors progress of outside contractors to ensure timely and proper repairs
• Serve on company’s in-plant or off-site emergency response team
• Comply with all company policies, rules, and guidelines
• Perform all other duties as required.

What you'll need :

• Ability to operate an industrial powered lift truck or forklift according to company procedures and governmental regulations
• Ability to use and maintain respiratory protection equipment
• Ability to learn proper methods for handling hazardous materials and wastes, with training
• The ability to read, write, count, understand and speak English
• Must hold a valid Class G drivers license
• Steamfitter / pipefitter apprentice
• Physical ability to lift and carry at least 50lbs for short distances
• Physical ability to stand, walk, squat, and bend as necessary for long periods of time
• Test negative on the company’s drug tests
• Exposure to fumes, dirt, and noise on a daily basis
• May have occasional exposure to hazardous chemicals
• May require safety equipment and / or precautions
