Join Costco Wholesale Canada in Québec, QC as a Maintenance Assistant, where your work helps maintain a safe, clean, and efficient Optical Lab environment. This role is essential for ensuring the cleanliness and functionality of workspaces, supporting safety, and maintaining equipment protection.

As part of the janitorial and general upkeep team, you will perform regular cleaning tasks, operate compactors, restock supplies, and assist with both internal and external maintenance duties. If you’re reliable and hands-on, this opportunity is perfect for you.

About the role: Maintenance Assistant

As a Maintenance Assistant, you will handle daily janitorial responsibilities, such as cleaning floors, empting trash, and restocking cleaning supplies. You will follow all safety and security standards while ensuring the Optical Lab meets cleanliness and maintenance expectations.

This position also includes responsibilities like changing light bulbs, cleaning rafters, supporting grounds maintenance, and assisting with snow removal. You’ll also help with painting, concrete floor repair, and support inventory and purchasing operations. Providing courteous service to members, employees, and suppliers is a key part of this role.
