Job description

Northwest Drainage Solutions is seeking an experienced and skilled Machine Operator (Excavator) to join our growing team. In this role, you will operate heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, and skid steers to assist with projects including drainage installations, septic system setups, waterproofing, and foundation repairs.

We are looking for a motivated individual with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate excavators, backhoes, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
  • Perform digging, trenching, grading, and site preparation for drainage, waterproofing, and foundation work
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on machinery to ensure safe operation
  • Collaborate with the project team to complete tasks accurately and on time
  • Follow all safety regulations and company protocols
  • Assist with manual tasks as needed
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 years of experience operating excavators and other heavy equipment
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation to job sites. AZ or DZ license is a plus
  • Strong understanding of construction site safety
  • Ability to read site plans and follow project specifications
  • Team-oriented attitude with good communication skill
