A regional service company in Ottawa is seeking a Lube Technician to perform maintenance on heavy trucks and pickup trucks. You will be responsible for oil changes, lubrications, and inspections.   • Inspect defects in the equipment.
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
  • Maintain neatness/cleanliness of bays through regular inspections.
  • Conduct minor repairs as needed.

Career Opportunities: Lube Technician (4919)

Tomlinson is looking for a Lube Technician forour Moodie Drive shoplocation. This individual will be working on heavy trucks and pickup trucks.

Shift: Monday-Friday, 2PM-12AM

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes and lubrications
  • Grease all lube points
  • Check all fluid levels on transmissions, differentials, and any other oil filled components
  • Brake stroke measurements
  • Inspection of defects to the equipment
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Maintain neatness/cleanliness of abys through regular inspections
  • Any other minor repairs

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Valid G license along with reliable transportation to get to and from work
  • Experience in the trucking or automotive industry would be an asset
