Job description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, disputing and recovering logistics-related fines and chargebacks across the supply chain. This role ensures financial accuracy, reduces revenue leakage, and strengthens relationships with retail and distribution partners.

Key activities
Dispute & Recovery Management
  • Lead end‑to‑end management of logistics fines, deductions, and chargebacks issued by retailers, carriers, and distribution partners.
  • Drive high‑performance collections activities, ensuring timely recovery of disputed amounts and minimizing outstanding balances.
  • Prepare and submit detailed dispute packages, including supporting documentation, corrective actions, and financial justification.
Analysis & Compliance
  • Investigate root causes of fines by analyzing shipment data, delivery documentation, routing guides, and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor retailer compliance programs and proactively identify risks, trends, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Partner with internal teams (Logistics, Customer Service, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain) to resolve systemic issues and prevent recurring fines.
Monitoring & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate tracking of fines, disputes, and recoveries using ERP systems, deduction portals, and internal reporting tools.
  • Build strong relationships with retail partners to negotiate resolutions and improve compliance outcomes.
  • Provide regular reporting on KPIs, including recovery rates, dispute success rates, and fine root‑cause trends.
Required Training And Experience
  • 5 + years of experience in logistics, supply chain, collections or deduction management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or another related field.
  • Experience in high-volume collections and successful recovery of penalties or chargebacks.
  • Solid experience in the consumer goods (CPG) industry, with knowledge of retailers’ compliance programs (e.g., Walmart, Costco, Metro, Amazon, Loblaws, Sobeys).
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle or equivalent), retailer portals and Excel/Google Sheets.

  • Bilingual (French/English), both written and spoken – essential for communication with English-speaking colleagues, clients, and suppliers across provinces and internationally.
  • Advanced ability to interpret shipping data, delivery indicators and financial documentation.
