Job description

Oversee procurement of required stocks and consumables of the clinic, including sourcing quotes from various vendors, and maintenance and licensing of dental equipment (e.g. dental chair, compressor, autoclaves, X-ray).

Provide clinical governance and technical oversight for the dental clinic in accordance with MOH's regulations.

Examine Patients' Oral Health: Conduct thorough dental examinations to assess the health of patients' teeth, gums, and mouth, identifying any issues such as cavities, infections, or oral diseases.

Diagnose and Treat Dental Conditions: Diagnose dental problems such as tooth decay, gum disease, and oral infections, and provide appropriate treatments such as fillings, extractions, and root canals.

Administrative Duties: Responsible for budgeting and submission of budget proposals to HQ and donors, as well as tracking, fulfilling, and reporting KPIs set for dental service.

Dental Team Management: Oversee rostering staff, recruitment of dental staff, appraisals of dental staff performances, training of dental staff (e.g. competency assessments), and retention of dental staff.

Patient Management: Oversee and assist the team in triaging and booking appropriate appointments for patients. Communicate effectively with patients to address their concerns, explain treatment options, and alleviate anxieties related to dental procedures. Handle and resolve patient feedback and/or complaints regarding dental services.

Job Requirement

Bachelor's degree in Dentistry from an accredited institution.

Full registration with the Singapore Dental Council and hold a valid license.

Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing as a Dentist, with proficiency in general dentistry procedures.

Willing to attend to patients who are of South Asian origin.
