A major media company is seeking a Local News Producer to create high-quality news content in the Okanagan region. Responsibilities include researching stories, mentoring volunteers, and engaging with the local community. This role requires a passion for storytelling, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects. Candidates must also have a valid driver's license. This is a full-time role with a 12-month contract at the Kelowna location.

We’re looking for a dedicated Local News Producer with a passion for local affairs and an interest to collaborate with community members to bring outstanding local content to our viewers in the Okanagan region.
To protect our people, brand and assets, a pre-employment background check will be conducted. As part of our selection process, all candidates must clear a criminal background check. Additionally, a credit check and drivers abstract may be required depending on the role.
