A community support organization seeks a Live-in Superintendent responsible for property maintenance and operations in Vaughan, Canada. This full-time position offers a one-bedroom apartment on-site, providing a convenient living arrangement. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of maintenance experience, a valid Ontario driver’s license, and strong communication skills. Compensation: $22.48 / hour
The Property Superintendent will primarily be responsible for providing property maintenance, overseeing the day‑to‑day operations, repair work within a building and custodial services. Acting under the direction of the Facilities Supervisor, following residents’ requests, and taking initiative, the Superintendent provides preventative and ad hoc maintenance. This position may also be involved in various projects, such as moving in and out of the building, moving inspections, tenant communication and coordinating and overseeing contractors.
This is a live-in position, offering the opportunity to reside in a designated one-bedroom apartment within the residential building—providing convenience and a deeper connection to the community you serve.
The ideal candidate will possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle.
