About The Opportunity

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for an experienced Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant supporting lawyers in a busy and complex practice. The role offers exposure to meaningful and high-level legal work, including matters before the Federal Court. While Federal Court litigation experience is considered an asset, it is not required. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys responsibility, variety in their workday, and opportunities to expand their knowledge base.

About The Position

The Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant will support lawyers within the litigation department and will report directly to the legal team. Responsibilities include preparing and managing legal documents, assisting with court and trial preparation, coordinating schedules and deadlines, and maintaining both electronic and physical files. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

Requirements
  • Legal Administrative Certificate from a recognized program
  • 5+ years of legal administrative experience
  • Experience in civil litigation and trial preparation preferred
  • Strong technical skills; familiarity with ESILaw, NetDocuments, and Microsoft Office is an asset
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Compensation
  • Salary range: $75,000 – $90,000, depending on experience
