In this individual contributor role, you will own the identification, design, delivery, and optimization of solutions for a core product used by millions of global employees across our human capital management and workforce management applications.

About The Role

You will be highly collaborative, working with external customers (Buyers, Admin users, HR users, and employees) and internal teams who implement and deliver our products. As the product lead for cross-functional development teams, you will guide initiatives and ensure successful execution for mature and evolving global products within the Time and Labor domain. Your focus will be on deeply understanding the Time and Labor market, customer needs, technical possibilities, and business impact, with a strategic perspective to identify opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and enhanced user experience in time tracking, scheduling, absence management, and related modules. You will engage with customers, engineering, design, and other stakeholders to uncover needs, define innovative solutions, and build consensus around the product roadmap.

You will shape and execute the overall vision for areas within the Time and Labor product line, delivering tangible value to customers. This includes continuous learning from customers, partners, and the broader Product organization, managing features to ensure successful releases, and establishing mechanisms to collect, track, report, and react to data to fuel ongoing learning and customer centricity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Strategy & Roadmap: Own and define the strategic direction, roadmap, and feature prioritization for specific components within Time and Labor, aligning with business objectives and market needs.
  • Customer & Market Insight: Conduct in-depth customer research, market analysis, and competitive analysis to understand user needs and opportunities in Time and Labor.
  • Requirements & Definition: Translate objectives into detailed product requirements, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
  • Cross-Functional Product Leadership: Act as the directly responsible individual (DRI) for product within agile teams; collaborate with engineering, design, QA, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Define and analyze key product metrics; use insights to inform decisions and optimize features for impact.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Influence: Communicate strategy, roadmaps, and updates to internal and external audiences; enable successful Go-to-Market strategies.
  • Domain Expertise: Maintain deep understanding of Time and Labor, regulatory requirements, best practices, and AI applications in workforce management.
  • Customer Advocacy: Champion the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience with UKG Pro and Pro WFM products (product management or implementation). Expertise in UKG Pro and Pro WFM is valued highly; strong willingness to learn is required.
  • Experience in developing customer centricity and outcomes through cross-functional product teams.
  • Proven ability to foster a customer-first culture in problem solving.
  • Strong use of analytics, user research, and business cases in an enterprise SaaS setting.
  • Comfort presenting complex topics to diverse audiences.
  • Track record balancing discovery of opportunities with delivering product experiences.
  • Strong discipline in applying AI technologies within product solutions.
  • We work in a collaborative hybrid model. 3 days on site per week in one of our UKG offices is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with globally distributed teams.
  • Experience launching enterprise SaaS products.
  • Deep knowledge of Time and Labor software and processes (timekeeping, scheduling, absence management).
  • Functional and technical knowledge of Workforce Management and Human Capital Management software.
  • Ability to use data to inform and prioritize product decisions.
  • Experience working with both technical and business user communities.
  • Comfort with ambiguity in building or evolving products.
