A major aerospace company is seeking a Lead EHS Specialist based in Springdale, Newfoundland and Labrador, to develop and implement environmental health and safety programs. Key responsibilities include conducting inspections, training employees and management on compliance, and maintaining metrics for reporting. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Safety or Occupational Health Management and have at least 3 years of EHS experience. The role will be based out of a component repair shop. The Lead EHS Specialist will assist in developing and implementing environmental health and safety programs, conducting inspections and risk assessments and providing a strong training program to ensure workplace compliance.
