A leading children’s center in Chilliwack is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to manage information flow, oversee payroll, and support staff operations. This role requires strong organizational skills and 1-2 years of related experience. The ideal candidate will inspire and motivate staff, ensuring smooth daily operations.
· Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
· Wage: $30.00~$36.00/hour (depending on experience)
· Number of Positions: 1
Job Duties:
· Manage the flow of information within the team.
· Support staff consultations and assist in resolving grievances.
· Plan daily operations, ensuring tasks are planned and evaluated effectively.
· Take meeting minutes for meetings, and discussions with parents and guardians, while managing schedules and appointments.
· Greet visitors and direct them to contacts or reception area
· Respond to questions regarding service and complaints
· Handle incoming phone calls, relay messages, and respond to electronic inquiries promptly.
· Develop, implement, and monitor policies and operational procedures.
· Inspire and motivate staff, oversee the training of new hires, and supervise volunteer personnel.
· Maintain office efficiency by managing inventory and ordering necessary supplies.
· Oversee payroll administration
Job requirements:
· Experience: 1~2 years of related experience are required.
· Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
