What Youll Do
- Lead large loss projects ($100K-$2M) from assessment to closeout including commercial, condo, and complex residential claims.
- Create / edit scope in Xactimate, RMS, and internal systems.
- Manage multiple active files simultaneously with tight timelines and evolving priorities.
- Provide accurate budgeting, draw / payment schedules, and ensure cost control.
- Coordinate with diverse stakeholders (clients, insurers, adjusters, trades, vendors) ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Ensure compliance and safety, securing permits, adhering to codes, and driving proactive risk mitigation.
- Communicate clearly and consistently, delivering updates, handling escalations, and maintaining professionalism.
- Support financial and production meetings, guide project forecasting, and maintain performance WIP metrics.
- Act as a team player and mentor, collaborating across departments and contributing to a positive work culture.
What You Bring
- 5+ years in restoration or construction project management.
- Proven experience with commercial, condo, and complex residential projects, including claims-based work.
- Superior organizational skills and the ability to multitask across multiple high-value files.
- Excellent verbal and written communications, skilled at coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
- Expertise in Xactimate, RMS, work order budgeting, PO tracking, and financial controls.
- Valid Ontario driver's license and reliable vehicle.
Assets That Set You Apart
- IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT) or PMP / Gold Seal accreditation.
- Bilingual (English / French).
- Familiarity with municipal permits, engineering coordination, building codes.
- Demonstrated ability to succeed in high-pressure, on-call disaster or emergency situations.
