Landscape Construction Worker
- Employer: Harco Developments Inc.
- Job Location: Based at 242144 112 St, De Winton AB, T0L 0X0, but required to work in various locations in the Calgary and surrounding areas (Airdrie, Crossfield, Chestermere, Okotoks, etc.)
- Wage: $24.00 – $26.00/hour (based on skills and experience, salary increases per company policy)
- Benefits: Extended medical
- Employment terms and conditions: Seasonal, Full-time, Monday to Friday, and every other Saturday, 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. (10.5 hours per day; hours may vary depending on weather).

Job requirements:
- Language: Basic English
- Experience: 4 seasons of related experience
- Areas of work: Parks, green spaces, sports fields, environmental reserves, retention ponds, irrigation, maintenance, civil earth moving, horticulture
- Worksite environment: Outdoor, wet, noisy, dusty, hot
- Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
- Work conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks
- Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding, handling heavy loads (up to 23 kg/50 lbs), manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking
- Personal Suitability: Dependability, reliability, efficient interpersonal skills, organized, team player
Duties:
- Installing landscape (sod/trees/shrubs/erosion control measures)
- Installing hardscape (pavers/boulders/retaining walls)
- Installing structures (signs, site furniture, structural art)
- Working alongside heavy equipment operators and other trades
- General site cleaning and maintenance
- Use of shovels, spades, rakes and other hand tools
- General construction site work, as needed (e.g., picking up and transporting tools and materials, washing equipment, testing and repairing irrigation systems, minor equipment repairs and maintenance, etc.)
