Position Overview

Finning Canada is seeking a Labourer to join our busy team in Red Deer. In this role, you are responsible for performing general labourer, contamination control and wash‑bay duties.

The successful candidate is committed to a safe work environment and is capable of working with minimal supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support routine building and yard maintenance duties
• Assist with contamination control
• Perform other related duties as requested
• Follow all safety procedures and rules
• Washing, Cleaning & Detailing
• Loading & Unloading Equipment
• Yard Functions
• Maintain yard organization and cleanliness to align with housekeeping and safety standards

Candidate selection will be in compliance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement

Qualifications

• High School graduate
• General mechanical aptitude
• Familiarity with heavy equipment or a similar industry would be considered an asset
• Shipping / Receiving experience
• Ability to stay organized and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment
• Team player
• Excellent interpersonal skills with effective verbal and written communication abilities

Hours and shift schedule may be subject to change to meet customer and/or Finning (Canada) requirements. Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement
