A reputable manufacturing firm in Canada is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to manage laboratory operations, ensure ISO 9001 compliance, and lead safety programs. The laboratory supervisor manages the overall R&D laboratory operations through direct oversight of the R&D technologists. They collaborate with management to effectively allocate resources based on the business priorities and maintains the facilities and equipment. In addition, the laboratory supervisor will also lead the R&D safety program. Interpro Pipe & Steel R&D maintains registration with ISO 9001 and as such, the laboratory supervisor will assist the Quality Management Designate in overseeing the Quality Management System to ensure compliance. Finally, the laboratory supervisor will assist management in achieving long term goals through identifying Capex needs, developing their business cases and developing and maintaining laboratory resource management tools.
