Job Description

Under the direction of Chef, the kitchen helper will assist in preparing meals and maintaining the kitchen in each of the areas, including the cafeteria. The kitchen helper will also ensure that Omni Service and Standards are met at all times.

Qualifications
  • Basic Culinary and Knife skills required
  • Professional College Enrolment
  • Available to work a flexible schedule include nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Previous experience preferred
  • Ability to multi-task
Responsibilities
  • Maintain kitchen sanitation in accordance with health department guidelines
  • Ensure station is set for service 15 minutes prior to service
  • Required to learn all menu items produced by the assigned station
  • Perform work assignments to meet proper quantities within a necessary time frame
  • Prepare a mixture of buffet and plated style items
  • Maintain safe food handling procedures at all times
