Overview
Key Accounts Manager - Quebec at Kerry Dairy Ireland (Bio-K+ site in Laval, Quebec). You will manage existing National and Regional Key Accounts, distributors and brokers, and develop new business within Pharmacy and Grocery. You will translate company objectives into the customer planning process through category reviews, trade marketing programs, distribution optimization and merchandising initiatives to achieve sales targets.

Bio-K+ is the #1 recommended probiotic brand in Quebec for 8 years running. The business operates in Canada and the United States with ambition to grow in multiple channels.
About The Role
Reporting to the Director of Sales Canada, you will be the key contact for some of the most important retailers and brokers. You will analyze POS and internal reports to uncover opportunities, build an 18-month forecast for your accounts, and lead across a cross-functional team to maximize sales opportunities. You will manage customer demands and growth opportunities and contribute to the Canadian sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals with assigned customers, including Natural, Drug and Grocery channels, strategic distributors and brokers.
- Represent Bio-K+ brand in front of retailers; actively manage retailer / brand relationships.
- Monitor sales performance by key accounts and adjust strategies in line with trade spend parameters.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and Customer Service to maximize opportunities.
- Develop and deliver fact-based sales presentations using category and market data to drive executable programs.
- Engage retailers in Joint Business Planning processes, including Promotional Reviews and Line Reviews.
- Analyze business trends, competitive activity, and promotional performance to identify incremental opportunities.
- Identify and develop new opportunities within Bio-K+ strategy and determine optimal go-to-market approaches.
- Forecast sales revenue, manage trade spend and promotional budgets, and identify new opportunities during budgeting.
- Build and maintain relationships at all levels within customers; cultivate executive relationships where appropriate.
- Work with other Key Account Managers to share and develop best practices.
- Attend some weekend and evening trade shows, presenting Bio-K+ professionally.

Qualifications And Skills
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent.
- 5+ years of KAM CPG experience, preferably in Food & Beverage, OTC, or Supplements.
- Experience with Natural, Drug or Grocery channel key retailers is required.
- Experience working with Quebec retailers like IGA, PJC, etc.
- Residency in Quebec – close to Montreal.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Strong analytical skills to develop fact-based selling solutions.
- Bilingualism in French and English (verbal and written).
- Understanding of assigned trade channels; Salesforce experience is a plus.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, growing company and adaptable to change.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills; strong business development and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines; strong problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with initiative and the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Proficient with MS Office, CRM, and enterprise software.
