Join our dynamic and innovative team! Explore exciting career opportunities now! The Junior Publishing Agent produces large documents and updates them with accuracy using provided SGML. With this data, the publisher will produce variable formats and finales outputs depending on the needs of the company and the customer, respecting the delivery timeline.

Key responsibilities
  • Ensure consistency of work produced by working in accordance with the procedures already in place;
  • Ensure that document's format, consistency, and grammar are in accordance with contracted specifications;
  • Remain by the applicable standard in order to ensure adequacy of the documents produced;
  • Uses multiple software products —including browsers, asset repository, SDL XPP Publisher, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and PTC Arbortext Editor— to manage SGML content to create final output to paper and different electronic media;
  • Ensure that documentation adheres to corporate branding guidelines and to technical documentation standards;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex multitask workflows and assign work to others in support of deadlines;
  • Self-directed learner with a continuous-improvement mindset; adapts to change and seeks technologies and methods to improve tools, processes and products;
  • Excellent organizational skills; manages multiple tasks while meeting publishing deadlines;
  • Team player, with excellent interpersonal skills.
Requirements
  • College degree in office work, or a professional high school diploma in a related field
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
  • Excellent knowledge of publishing applications such as Adobe Acrobat
  • Knowledge of SGML language is an important asset
  • Good knowledge of the micro
  • Written and spoken abilities in both French and English (bilingualism)
IT Tools – Preferable, would be an asset:
  • SGML workflow experience required;
  • SharePoint for Storing/Archiving;
  • Microsoft Office;
  • Adobe Acrobat suite;
  • SDL XML Professional Publisher (XPP) 9.2 (as pdf) facultative;
  • SDL Contenta 5.5 facultative;
  • PTC Arbortext Editor 7.0 facultative
  • Windchill 9.1 optional facultative.
  • Knowledge of ATA 100 – 2200 specifications facultative;
