Job Summary
This role supports ourgrowthby identifying new business opportunities, nurturing leads, and building strong customer relationships. This role is ideal for someone early in their sales career who is highly motivated, personable, and eager to learn the secure-shredding and information-destruction industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate new leads through calls, emails, networking, and local outreach
- Support senior sales staff in managing inbound inquiries and preparing client proposals
- Conduct needs assessments with potential customers to understand service requirements
- Assist with developing quotes, service plans, and scheduling for new accounts
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions in the CRM system
- Build strong relationships with small and medium-sized businesses across BC
- Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry functions as required
- Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients
- Meet and exceed monthly activity and revenue targets
- Represent us professionally and maintain strong product knowledge
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or business development (entry-level candidates welcome with the right attitude)
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with customers
- Basic understanding of sales processes, CRM systems, and lead management
- Comfort making outbound calls and interacting with businesses
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple priorities
- High level of professionalism and integrity, especially when handling confidential information
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Experience in B2B sales or service-based industries
- Knowledge of secure shredding, waste management, or information-security sectors
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Salesforceor similar CRM platforms
