Division: Trotter & Morton Facility Services

Trotter & Morton Facility Services provides 24/7 preventive and predictive mechanical system maintenance and repair for condominium, commercial, and institutional buildings.

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our growing Service Division in Calgary, Alberta, in a junior sales role. This position is ideal for someone who is interested in sales, enjoys working with people, and wants to grow their skills in a supportive and structured environment. Experience in sales is an asset, but not required, we are willing to train the right candidate.

Success in this role comes from staying curious, researching potential clients, and actively reaching out to new opportunities. The ideal candidate is organized, eager to learn, and comfortable communicating with different types of people. Basic computer skills, a willingness to try new things, and confidence in writing and presenting will also help you succeed.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Prospect potential client's
  • Make first appointment phone calls
  • Assist Maintenance Sales Representatives and Sales team in day‑to‑day needs
  • Learn to identify and assist customer needs
  • Learn and develop the ability to qualify prospects, set effective appointments, follow up on leads and referrals and answer questions and objections in a proficient and responsible manner
  • Develop an understanding of the prospect's decision‑making process, address customer concerns and commit prospect to decision making timetable
  • Proactively research the prospect's organization and influence the customer to buy through thorough analysis of the client’s organizational needs
  • Perform other duties as required
