Job Description

G.R. Roy Construction is seeking a motivated Junior Construction Estimator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a construction professional with strong field experience who is looking to transition into estimating and project planning under the guidance of a Senior Estimator. You will work closely with the Senior Estimator to assist with estimating, quoting, and project planning while participating in a structured training and development program over the next three years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Senior Estimator with project estimates, take-offs, and quotations
  • Support project planning and cost analysis activities
  • Review drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
  • Collaborate with project managers and site teams
  • Contribute to scheduling, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Learn and apply company estimating systems and procedures
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of construction industry experience
  • Previous supervising and planning experience
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and workflows
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
