Position Description

The Regional Manager is responsible for all aspects of the region’s operational activities, including territory structure, distribution strategy, promotional execution, JSS & sales alignment, and regional reporting. You will be responsible for delivering double‑digit growth in our Milwaukee family of brands across multiple distribution channels. The Regional Manager will have the keen ability to build customer‑centric relationships and coach a team through strong communication skills and clear goal setting. This person will be a sales strategist who can develop robust plans to take share and drive sell‑through. The successful candidate will display leadership, enthusiasm, a team‑player mentality, and a drive to win.

What You Will Do
  • Grow the regional customer base by developing our existing customer base and opening strategic distribution.
  • Develop relationships throughout all layers of your distributor’s management team, especially our MPP accounts.
  • Integrate our JSS end‑user team into the regional selling strategies to create insatiable end‑user demand.
  • Leverage Co‑op Advertising dollars and SG&A budget to drive regional sales growth.
  • Leverage and continuously rethink the sales structure in your territory.
  • Perform daily coaching and mentoring for a large team of field sellers.
  • Provide an accurate monthly billing meeting forecast.
  • Execute Quarterly Business Reviews with the other Regional Managers from Field Sales.
  • Actively make joint calls in the field while being a cheerful face for the brand regionally.
  • Helping to set OKRs and monitoring their progress, making improvements or adjustments when needed.
  • Educating the sales team by providing seminars and other training on sales techniques.
Who You Are
  • An outstanding communicator and presenter, both internally and externally.
  • Excellent at building solid relationships with your organization, your team and your customers.
  • Consistently bring suggestions and solutions for all challenges.
  • Solid understanding of finance and should be able to interpret and work with financial sheets.
  • Organized, as you will also set an example for your sales team members.
  • A true leader – you have the responsibility of developing your sales team to develop initiatives of their own.
  • Involved with your team members and provide additional support and mentoring when needed.
  • Able to identify talented prospective sales reps as you go through the process of recruiting, hiring and building your team.
  • Are not afraid to experiment and shake things up a bit when the status quo isn’t producing the best possible results from your team.
What You Will Bring
  • You will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Have 7+ Years of sales, marketing and leadership experience.
  • You must be proficient in computer skills, BI and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must possess effective business communication skills, a broad business perspective, and market savvy.
  • Ability to travel significantly.
